Postal Try Ons

If you are not based in Hamilton/Waikato we encourage you to utilise our postal try on service, to try on 1-3 dresses in the comfort of your own home. 

Please read the below details carefully so you understand how our postal try ons work:

The postal try on discount activates each Tuesday at 2pm and closes on Wednesday the same week at 2pm. 

How it works:

  • Once the postal try on discount activates, you can add 1-3 dresses to your cart that you would like to try provided they are available to book for that weekend. 

  • Because event bookings take priority you cannot book a postal try on more than one week in advance. 

  • If the garment is available select the coming Friday or Saturday as the delivery date. 

  • If the garment you would like to try isn't available for the coming weekend, it is not available for you to try on, please try again the following week.

  • At checkout add the discount code POSTALTRYON ; your order will be reduced by 50%

  • Select the $10 shipping option and make sure your address is non-rural.

  • Continue to checkout and complete your payment.

  • We aim to post all try ons, on Wednesday for them to arrive Thursday and be posted back to us on Friday.

  • Your rental(s) will arrive with security tags attached, if these are removed we will charge your card the full rental cost.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Please check the rental(s) are available for your event date if you know it before booking a postal try on, as booked rentals take priority and will not be cancelled if someone has already booked the dress for the same date as your event.

  • If you can see the dress is available for your event date and you are booking a postal try on, please add your event date to the notes in your cart and I will put a hold on the rental(s) for that date until you have tried them on. The hold will expiry 24 hours after the dress has been delivered.

  • If you leave a positive review on the rental you have tried on (go the product page on our website to do this) you will receive a discount code straight to your email to use to book the dress for your event.

Terms & Conditions: 

  • If the rentals do not fit, you will not receive any compensation.

  • If the rentals are returned without the security tags attached or appear to have been worn/marked, you will be charged the full rental price. 

  • You are liable for any damage that occurs whilst the postal try on is in your care, the full rental agreement applies.

  • Postal try ons are unavailable for weekends with a public holiday.

  • Postal try ons are not available for rural addresses.

  • If the rental(s) are not handed over a post office counter by 12pm the following business day after arriving to you, a $20 daily late fee will apply.

  • It is at the discretion of Before Midnight Rentals to allow/remove postal try ons each week. 

  • Please be aware: The condition of the garment may have deteriorated between your postal try on and event, any major changes will be communicated with you.
