Return Date: The day you will return your rental to an NZ post shop. Saturday and Sunday ARE NOT return days. Please select a longer rental duration to ensure your return date falls on a business weekday Monday-Friday.

Processing and shipping time are automatically added before your selected delivery date. We recommend choosing a longer rental duration during peak seasons or for rural deliveries to allow for possible delays. If you need your dress earlier or are travelling, please select a longer rental duration.

We will organise a pick up time with you after we receive your booking. We run pick ups from 7:30am - 9:00pm. Please contact us before your event date if you need to collect before 10am.

Accidental Damage Protection

Accidental damage protection is available for all rental garments.


Accidental damage protection covers up to $100 worth of professional specialist cleaning OR up to $100 worth of seamstress repairs. Or up to $100 of a combination of both depending on the damage done. IT DOES NOT COVER MAJOR PERMANENT ALTERATION or purposeful damage i.e. altering a garment which is against our terms and conditions in the rental agreement.


Even taking out damage protection, it is still expected that you treat our items with responsibility and care.


Damage protection DOES NOT COVER:


Major alterations (The garment will need to be replaced)

Damage deemed not accidental - such as alterations made by the renter which is prohibited

Dragging a dress through mud or dirt causing extensive irreparable staining, where it would be reasonably expected the item be picked up to avoid foreseeable damage.

Damaged caused by wearing heavily embellished clutches or jewellery catching on the garment, as this damage is foreseeable and is never advised with hire pieces.

The replacement cost of the rental garment.

Loss of income for future rentals.

Late return fees.

Loss of item due to carelessness, theft or other.


If a rental garment is deemed irreparable or lost the full replacement cost is required to be paid in full. The $100 worth of cleaning/repairs CANNOT be used as $100 off the full replacement cost.


Damage insurance IS NOT REFUNDABLE:


It cannot be refunded in the event of no damage/stainage during your rental.

Please note: this gown is delicate and must be handled with care. Full replacement cost $2400 + 25% customs duty/tax. 

Standard dry cleaning is included with the hire price, any marks that our dry cleaner considers excessive and charges extra for will be passed on to the customer. 

Please avoid mud and coloured alcohol at all costs, as these can permanently damage the beading and fabric, if irreversible damage occurs the replacement cost will be charged. 

Sizing/Fit:

  • Slightly smaller fitting
  • Lace up back
  • Zipper at the back
  • Minimal stretch

  • If you are between sizes, size up for the best fit.

We have this gown for hire in size 12/L - best fit is a 10 to small 12. Sizes 8, 10 and 14 coming soon. Our model (Siobhan) as seen in the photos is wearing the size 12 and is usually a 10, she is not wearing heels in the photo and is 180cm tall. 

Because of the length we can do temporary invisible hems to ensure the length is right for you, we charge a fee for this, please inquire when you book so we can arrange. 

Dress comes with shorts that can be worn underneath as it is semi sheer - heavily beaded though, so this is fairly minimal. Shorts are being worn in the photos. 

Our couture range is excluded from the discounts we offer.

Please refrain from using any type of fashion/fabric/boob tape on our garments as it causes damage. Instead we strongly recommend CLUTCH GLUE as a garment adhesive. You can purchase this from us here or from Chemist Warehouse.
