Return Date: The day you will return your rental to an NZ post shop. Saturday and Sunday ARE NOT return days. Please select a longer rental duration to ensure your return date falls on a business weekday Monday-Friday.

Pickup Date: Select the day you would like to pick your dress up from our Hamilton location (1092b Tauwhare Road RD7 Hamilton 3287)

Drop off date: Select the earliest day after your event that you will drop the dress off.

This option is only for customers shipping their rental to Australia.

Processing and shipping time are automatically added before your selected delivery date. We recommend choosing a longer rental duration during peak seasons or for rural deliveries to allow for possible delays. If you need your dress earlier or are travelling, please select a longer rental duration.

We will organise a pick up time with you after we receive your booking. We run pick ups from 7:30am - 9:00pm. Please contact us before your event date if you need to collect before 10am.

Accidental Damage Protection

Accidental damage protection is available for all rental garments.


Accidental damage protection covers up to $100 worth of professional specialist cleaning OR up to $100 worth of seamstress repairs. Or up to $100 of a combination of both depending on the damage done. IT DOES NOT COVER MAJOR PERMANENT ALTERATION or purposeful damage i.e. altering a garment which is against our terms and conditions in the rental agreement.


Even taking out damage protection, it is still expected that you treat our items with responsibility and care.


Damage protection DOES NOT COVER:


Major alterations (The garment will need to be replaced)

Damage deemed not accidental - such as alterations made by the renter which is prohibited

Dragging a dress through mud or dirt causing extensive irreparable staining, where it would be reasonably expected the item be picked up to avoid foreseeable damage.

Damaged caused by wearing heavily embellished clutches or jewellery catching on the garment, as this damage is foreseeable and is never advised with hire pieces.

The replacement cost of the rental garment.

Loss of income for future rentals.

Late return fees.

Loss of item due to carelessness, theft or other.


If a rental garment is deemed irreparable or lost the full replacement cost is required to be paid in full. The $100 worth of cleaning/repairs CANNOT be used as $100 off the full replacement cost.


Damage insurance IS NOT REFUNDABLE:


It cannot be refunded in the event of no damage/stainage during your rental.

Length:

Our size 10 has been hemmed to suit heights 5'7 or shorter (you may still need to use the belt method described below if too long).

Our size 8 has not been hemmed.

Please note: The Tilly Tiered Maxis are very long. If the dress is too long, you can easily shorten it without altering the garment. Simply place a belt around your waist underneath the second tier, then gently pull the third/bottom tier upwards to your desired length. Tighten the belt to secure the excess fabric in place and conceal it beneath the second tier.

This keeps the dress looking natural while allowing you to adjust the length to suit your height.

Sizing:

We stock this dress in size 8/S and 10/M. The dress fits true to size but due to the free flowing body has some room to give. We recommend the size 8 to best fit a 8 to 10 and the size 10 to best fit a 10 to 12.

Please note our size 8 is due to arrive the week of the 7th of September and will be made available to book then.

    Please refrain from using any type of fashion/fabric/boob tape on our garments as it causes damage. Instead we strongly recommend CLUTCH GLUE as a garment adhesive. You can purchase this from us here or from Chemist Warehouse.
